All plates are weighed on highly sensitive calibrated scales and marked with their weight prior to shipping. If a plate does not conform, it does not ship. We use a highly specialize ink formulated to adhere to this specific material. The collar opening allows for a sung fit on the bar* eliminating the loose fit bumpers can have. The hardness of the material is ideal to the Olympic weightlifters' preference. When dropped these plates dead blow with little bounce. Nothing is more annoying than "chasing" bumper plates that bounce all over the platform.
